Adroit Adjusting is a family business owned by Ben Schwab. Ben and his wife Judy understand insurance adjusting as a people business with a technical side. We look forward to serving you and your policyholders with skill, integrity and empathy.

Ben is new to adjusting but brings a wealth of transferable experience to Adroit Adjusting.

Ben most recently lived out his empathy and compassion as a housedad at a Christian boarding school providing loving physical, emotional, and spiritual leadership for tween girls needing a safe place to grow up.

Prior to this he spent 38 years in commercial construction applying his creativity and attention to detail in varied roles such as:

Consultant - consulting with builders on constructability using 3D building information modeling on domestic and international projects up to $200 million;

Preconstruction Manager - Managing design teams to accomplish building owner's objectives within their budgets on projects up to $20 million

Project Manager and Cost Estimator - pricing and managing new construction and renovation projects for varied clients ranging from hospitals, public and private schools, public and private colleges, banks, and manufacturing and warehousing businesses, on projects up to $20 million.

It is said that behind every good man there is a good women. Judy, Ben's wife of 40 years, has walked alongside Ben as they raised their family and then as Ben started and ran various businesses over the past 15 years. She is a valuable helper with a servant heart enabling Ben to do much more that he could on his own. She will be your contact person for accounting matters.
